Most people in the area may not know that there is a hidden gem in Milton that is perfect for a nice weekend getaway, or even a beautiful setting for a wedding or event.  Just 30 miles outside of Pensacola we have a beautiful eco resort known as Coldwater Gardens. This property encompasses 415 acres of gorgeous land dotted with pine trees and cypress swamps.

Coldwater Gardens provides multiple types of accommodations from a more rugged tent camping style stay, to glamping setups, and even higher end luxury cabins and tiny homes to stay in. They even offer the unique option of staying in their treehouse accommodation, which has two queen size beds, firepit, AC & heating, outdoor shower, amazing views, and complete privacy to enjoy nature.

This amazing slice of nature also sits right along the serene setting of Coldwater Creek. The park features 7 miles of designated hiking, biking, and walking trails to explore. The creek provides miles of area to float down and even has 4 different sandbar locations to take a break and bask in the sun on. Bring your own kayak, canoe, or tube and enjoy Coldwater Creek. The park also includes greenhouses, a koi pond, and a butterfly garden for guests to enjoy during their stay. The gardens consist of 2 - 3 acres of landscaping with plants like native milkweed, bee balm, and maypop to support local and migratory butterflies. They also have an aquaponics system in one of the greenhouses, which uses koi fish to fertilize plant beds. In the aquaponics greenhouse, they grow herbs, ornamentals, and beneficial plants. The gardens are also home to multiple bunnies, which guests can pet and hold as well as a plethora of other animals including chickens, peacocks, goats, and mini pigs.

Coldwater Creek Gardens is a favorite wedding venue for Pensacola locals. The park offers 3 different wedding packages to utilize, if you are looking for a peaceful nature filled setting for your big day.
